MB Carvalho is an author-illustrator from northeast Brazil working in comics and picture books. MB’s work explores stories rooted in both the mundane and the fantastical, building bridges between traditional and contemporary narrative and visual practices. Can often be found listening in to the gossip of the neighbourhood birds.
